A History-

Ed Comics began as a tribute label to the late animation teacher Ed Harvey of Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA.  Brett and Darrell had first met in one of Ed's character animation classes and, along with the rest of the "Animators' Hell Hole" crew, bonded through their creativity.  Moon, a friend of Brett's since high school, gelled well with the bizarre characters of the Hell Hole.  When the three gradually migrated to Southern California, they remained close... and the flowing juices of creative flowing began to... flow.

Brett-

A graduate of Righetti High School in Santa Maria, CA, Brett co-founded Ed Comics in 2005.  He created, co-wrote, and illustrated the 2006 comic book S.P.a.Z.- The Legend of the Super Dorks and co-created/illustrated the webcomic "Man-Boys!", a work of autobiographical fiction.  Aside from his Ed Comics projects, Brett has also illustrated the children's book The Adventures of Captain Candy by Ryan Lederer, as well as various individual commissioned pieces. He has also been a contributing artist to the Comic Artists' Guild and to the Tiki Machine art book Deus Libris.

 Moon-

The primary wordsmith of Ed Comics, Moon has the uncanny ability to make our dumb ideas funny.  He and Brett met while playing Penny Poker in a sophmore Spanish class.  He contributed the "Letters to the Editor" section of S.P.a.Z. #1, and has written pretty much everything by Ed Comics since (including the soon-to-be-released S.P.a.Z. #2... "soon" having a very loose definition) and co-created "Man-Boys!"  He is also a purveyor of knowledge to today's youth and a new father to the little-big Jackson!

Darrell-

An alumnus of Paso Robles High in Paso Robles, CA, Darrell met Moon and Brett at Allan Hancock College's animation lab, known to some as the Animators' Hell Hole.  When told the idea for S.P.a.Z., Darrell teamed up to co-write the first issue and co-found Ed Comics.  He has worn many hats since then, including, but not limited to: guest writer, producer, color artist, layout, concept, photog, tie-breaker, Apple-lover (in multiple ways), mob boss, Leonitus stunt double....
